Old Goa Churches — UNESCO World Heritage Site
A cluster of magnificent 16th–17th century Portuguese churches on the banks of the Mandowi River. The Basilica of Bom Jesus houses the tomb and mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier — one of the most important Catholic pilgrimage sites in Asia. Se Cathedral is the largest church in India and one of the largest in Asia, with a famous Golden Bell.
Mangueshi Temple
One of Goa's most beautiful and revered Hindu temples — dedicated to Lord Shiva (Manguesh). A stunning example of Goan temple architecture with its distinctive deepstambha (lamp tower), stepped tank and characteristic white facade set in lush tropical surroundings.
Dona Paula
A dramatic coastal viewpoint at the confluence of the Zuari and Mandovi rivers — famous for its romantic statue of a couple and sweeping views of the Arabian Sea and Mormugao harbour. The legend of the tragic Portuguese noblewoman Dona Paula de Menezes adds a poetic air to this scenic spot.
Miramar Beach & Panjim City
Miramar — Panjim's closest beach, curving beautifully along the Mandovi estuary where river meets sea. Then explore Panjim's charming Latin Quarter (Fontainhas) — a maze of cobblestoned lanes with brightly coloured Portuguese-era houses, tiny chapels and local Goan shops that have barely changed in centuries.

Anjuna Beach
Goa's legendary bohemian beach — dramatic black rocky outcrops framing a crescent of golden sand with a laid-back, soulful vibe. Famous for its Wednesday Flea Market, lively beach shacks and the iconic Nine Bar cliff perch. A favourite of artists, backpackers and free spirits since the 1960s.
Vagator Beach
A spectacular two-tiered beach divided by a rocky laterite headland — Big Vagator with its famous red cliffs and cascading steps to the sand, and Little Vagator's more intimate and secluded cove below. The Chapora Fort ruins sit dramatically above, offering panoramic coastal views.
Baga Beach & Siquerim Beach
North Goa's most vibrant and energetic beaches — beach shacks serving the freshest seafood, water sports galore (parasailing, jet-skiing, banana boat), and the famous Tito's Lane strip nearby. Baga is the soul of Goa's beach party culture — electric even in the middle of the day.
Fort Aguada
The best-preserved 17th-century Portuguese fort in Goa — built in 1612 to defend against Dutch and Maratha attacks. Perched dramatically on a headland at the junction of the Mandowi River and the Arabian Sea, with a restored lighthouse (oldest in Asia) inside. Breathtaking 360° coastline panoramas from the ramparts. Entry ticket payable locally.

The markets near Calangute and Baga are excellent for last-minute shopping.
🌊 One Last Beach Walk
Take a final walk along the shore, dip your feet in the warm Arabian Sea one last time, and soak up the salty Goa air. Goa has a way of making every departure feel a little bittersweet.
