Arrive at Srinagar Airport (SXR). Our representative will receive you and transfer to your Deluxe Houseboat on Dal Lake.
Deluxe Houseboat Stay (1 Night Included): Check in to your beautifully crafted traditional wooden houseboat — hand-carved walnut interiors, ornate cedar ceilings and panoramic windows overlooking the lake. The quintessential Kashmir experience, unlike any hotel on earth.
Late afternoon — Shikara Ride on Dal Lake (1 Hour Included): Glide across the legendary Dal Lake in a carved wooden Shikara — past floating vegetable markets, lotus gardens and willow-fringed channels as the snow-capped Himalayas glow golden at sunset.

After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg — "Meadow of Gold" (83 km · ~2½ hrs). The drive follows the glacial Sindh River through pine forests and waterfalls.
Thajiwas Glacier: Ride a pony up to the glacier base (payable locally) or hike through the wildflower meadow. Thajiwas is one of Kashmir's most accessible glaciers — the blue ice is stunning up close. Sledge riding on snow available in season (payable locally). Return to Srinagar hotel by late afternoon.

After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg — "Meadow of Flowers" (60 km · ~2 hrs). At 2,650m, Gulmarg is one of Asia's premier ski resorts and home to one of the world's highest operating cable cars.
Gulmarg Gondola — Phase 1 (Khilanmarg, 3,080m): Ticket payable locally, subject to weather and availability. The cable car rises above the treeline to deliver 360° panoramic Himalayan views — Nanga Parbat, Apharwat and the valleys of Kashmir spread below. Optional pony rides through the meadows (payable locally). Return to Srinagar by evening.

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam — "Valley of Shepherds" (90 km · ~2½ hrs). En route pass through saffron fields — the world's finest saffron is grown in this valley — and endless pine forests.
Betaab Valley: Named after the hit Bollywood film shot here — a stunning meadow encircled by snowy peaks with the turquoise Lidder River rushing through its centre. One of Kashmir's most photogenic spots.
Aru Valley — a serene meadow 11km from Pahalgam, perfect for bridle walks and Himalayan panoramas. Pony rides available locally. Drive back to Srinagar for overnight stay.

After breakfast, visit Shankaracharya Temple — a 5th-century Shiva temple perched 1,000 ft above Srinagar, offering breathtaking panoramic views over Dal Lake.
Nishat Bagh & Shalimar Bagh: Two of India's most celebrated Mughal-era terraced gardens on the shores of Dal Lake — laid out by Emperor Jahangir in the 17th century. Gorgeous flowerbeds, fountains and Himalayan backdrop (entry fees payable locally).
Transfer to Srinagar Airport (SXR) — drop included — for your onward flight home. Tour concludes at airport drop-off.

Kashmir can be cold even in summer — carry warm layers, especially for Gulmarg (2,650m) and Sonamarg. Winter travel (Nov–Feb) requires heavy woolens and ski gear.
