Atal Tunnel (Rohtang) may occasionally be closed due to weather or army restrictions. Your driver will advise on the day. In such cases, scenic viewpoints near the tunnel are visited instead.

Manali is at 6,726 ft and Solang Valley at 8,500 ft. Layered clothing is essential even in peak season. Temperatures can dip significantly at night β warm woolens, jacket, and gloves are recommended.

Air conditioning is switched off on steep hill sections as a standard practice to prevent engine strain. This is followed by all operators on mountain routes and is not specific to our vehicles.
