Munnar, perched at 1,600 metres in the heart of Kerala's Western Ghats, is a landscape of endless emerald tea estates, roaming Nilgiri tahrs, and mornings wrapped in cool mountain mist. This group tour departs from Trivandrum on Friday, 20 November 2026 in a comfortable AC bus and delivers three unforgettable days — a scenic forest-road drive, waterfalls, dams, viewpoints, tea country, and a campfire dinner under open skies.

Your Munnar Journey

Rise early for a 6:00 AM departure from Thampanoor, followed by a 6:15 AM pickup at the Geeth International Tours & Travels office in Ulloor. Your comfortable AC bus travels via Kesavadasapuram, Venjaramoodu, Kilimanoor, Kottarakkara, Kottayam, Muvattupuzha, Kothamangalam, Oonnukal and Adimali, climbing steadily into the cool embrace of the Western Ghats.
Enjoy the beautiful Neriyamangalam forest route and stop at Cheeyappara Waterfall for photographs. Between 3:00 and 4:00 PM you arrive at your accommodation in Aanachal — check in and freshen up. In the evening, visit Munnar Hydel Park and Rose Garden, then enjoy free time to explore Munnar Town independently; the bus will remain parked. Return to the hotel for a hot dinner (included) and your first night among the hills. Breakfast and lunch on this day are at your own expense.

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel (included), depart for a full day of sightseeing. Visit Mattupetty Dam — a picturesque dam whose reservoir mirrors the surrounding shola forests — then continue upward to Top Station, where on a clear day the view stretches across the Tamil Nadu border and down to the valley far below. Stop at the scenic Lockhart Gap viewpoint, visit a tea factory, and finish at Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. All sightseeing is subject to time, access and local operating conditions.
Lunch is taken during sightseeing at your own expense. The evening is free for shopping — stock up on fresh cardamom, pepper, and estate teas to take home.
The night is the highlight of the trip: return to the hotel for dinner and a special campfire (both included) under open skies, with the cool mountain air and the soft crackle of the fire creating a memory you won't forget. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Enjoy one last breakfast at the hotel (included) while soaking in the cool mountain morning. Check out and board the AC bus to begin the return journey to Trivandrum, carrying home three days of misty hills, tea gardens and memorable moments.

Important Notes
This is a shared group tour by AC bus. The bus departs at 6:00 AM from Thampanoor, with a 6:15 AM pickup at our Ulloor office. Passengers must be present at the boarding point at least 15 minutes prior to departure.
Accommodation is at a budget 3-star hotel in Aanachal on double occupancy. Standard check-in: 1:00 PM. Check-out: 11:00 AM. All guests must carry valid photo ID proof.
Munnar temperatures range from 5°C to 25°C. Carry a light jacket or sweater — mornings and nights can be significantly cold, especially at Top Station and Lockhart Gap.
Sightseeing order and access may change due to weather, traffic, local restrictions or operating conditions. Entry to Eravikulam National Park and other attractions is subject to availability and applicable rules.
Please carry some cash, as UPI payments may not be accepted at certain sightseeing locations.
